Traditionally,
Ariel appears as a serious-faced
man of mature years with flowing
silver hair and violet eyes. He
wears a cloak of rainbow colours
that flashes and glows in his aura.
Archangel
of the West, angel of the Moon and
Inner Vision.
Traditionally
appears as a young man, strong and
wise with an inner glow. He wears
a luminous cloak, and on his forehead,
the curved crescent horns of the
waxing moon - which he does not
blow, contrary to popular modern
myth.
Archangel
of the South, warrior of the Sacred
Flames.
Appears
as a golden-haired warrior clad
in golden armour, pleated kilt and
curved breastplate. Right hand holds
an engraved runic sword. Left hand
is behind a battle shield.
This
angel didn’t become St. Michael
(as some say)
Archangel
of the East, mystic illuminator,
star traveller.
Traditionally
appears wearing the garments of
a traveller - a kind of astral bard.
Wears winged sandals, broad-brimmed
hat and yellow cloak and carries
a staff with serpents.
